The track width measuring instrument is used to determine the deviation from standard track width (1435 mm) quickly and very easily in the range from -10 mm to +40 mm with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm. The spring-loaded measurement end stop is pressed against the inner side of the track and a wide, fixed end stop on the opposite side provides for correct angle measurement. The readout of tolerance to reference width is shown in analogue format on a measurement scale. One support point between the two tracks is insulated to prevent short-circuiting. The track width measuring instrument can be combined with our other camber measurement devices without difficulty.
